Join Our Growing Team at Burke Animal ClinicCustomer Service Representative -
Greetings, checking in, and checking out clientsRequired to know policies, procedures, and clinical processesAnswer phones calls, emails, texts, and process any messagesBook, confirm, and manage appointments, surgeries, and proceduresTaking food and prescription requestsHandling cash drawer/preparing end of day financial reportsTroubleshooting client communication issuesProcessing patient records, lab work, and specialist reportsMaintaining accurate client records and updating information as neededGood communication to be able to relay messages between clients, veterinarians, and other staff membersMultitasking, the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

$19.00$20.00 per hourWe are seeking a friendly, understanding, and professional team member to assist us with providing exceptional customer service for our clients. CSRs are the first point of contact for our clients and must be compassionate, articulate, and able to handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency. Applicants must have strong communication skills accompanied by a calm presence especially when juggling multiple tasks or supporting clients and staff during emotional moments. Requirements/Duties will include but may not be limited to:Greetings, checking in, and checking out clientsRequired to know policies, procedures, and clinical processesAnswer phones calls, emails, texts, and process any messagesBook, confirm, and manage appointments, surgeries, and proceduresTaking food and prescription requestsHandling cash drawer/preparing end of day financial reportsTroubleshooting client communication issuesProcessing patient records, lab work, and specialist reportsMaintaining accurate client records and updating information as neededGood communication to be able to relay messages between clients, veterinarians, and other staff membersMultitasking, the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Excellent oral and written communicationOrganized and meticulousKnowledge of basic veterinary terms and proceduresKnowledge of basic computer skillsPatience and respect for client, patients and colleaguesAbility to deal with stressful situationsPhysical/Emotional Demands:
Standing/walking/lifting. (Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs)The applicant must be able to adapt to emotional transitions between appointmentsfor example, shifting from a joyful puppy or kitten visit to compassionate euthanasia.Work Environment:
