As a Team Lead, you will be the heart of our coffee shop, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your barista expertise, develop your leadership abilities, and contribute to a dynamic food service setting. Responsibilities Lead daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional service delivery. Supervise and motivate team members, providing coaching and support to uphold company standards. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and other menu offerings with precision and care. Manage POS transactions using systems and ensuring accurate cash handling and sales recording. Oversee food safety protocols, including proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices. Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a friendly atmosphere. Train new team members on café procedures, POS systems, food safety standards, and customer service expectations. Ensure compliance with all food industry regulations and safety standards while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café area. Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee making skills and knowledge of beverage recipes. Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment. Familiarity with POS systems for salesprocessing and cash handling. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation techniques, and proper serving procedures. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
