Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service overnight associate and become the friendly face that keeps our store running smoothly during the nighttime hours. In this energetic role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions and store operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and answering questions about merchandise. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely. Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves during your shift to ensure products are well-presented and accessible. Stock inventory as needed, perform inventory counts, and assist with product replenishment to keep the store fully stocked overnight. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone etiquette or in person, ensuring each customer feels valued. Upsell products or services when appropriate to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales opportunities. Ensure store cleanliness, safety protocols, and proper signage are maintained throughout your shift. Requirements Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in a bilingual environment is a plus. Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions with shoppers. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work overnight hours reliably. Prior experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is beneficial but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key.
