Truly a family enterprise, Capital Candy Co, Inc. was founded in 1938 by George and Marion Burnes in Montpelier, Vermont. We have been served all of Vermont, New Hampshire, upstate New York, North Western Mass, and Maine for 4 generations. Our dedicated team's goal is to exceed our customer's every expectation for their retail and merchandising needs. We offer a diversified sales, marketing, and logistics network to serve ours over 3,000 customers. We are a full-service convenience and grocery store wholesaler.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take Orders from customers calling in by phone Enter Orders in As400, invoice system Solve customer issues or work with sales rep. to solve them Assist Delivery Drivers with any customer issues that may come up within the course of their day delivering orders and picking up returns Bank Statement Reconciliations Accounts Payable help Misc projectsJOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Cheerful and helpful attitude toward customers and other employees Work independently and in a TEAM environment Good communication skills Good personal and team organizational skills Computer skills, AS400/ Data Base experience is a plus Reading, writing, and math skills Dependable Good attendance/punctual Must be able to enter data accurately and efficiently Able to multitask Potential for accounts payable assisting as well Summary In the role of Customer Service / Office Assistant, you will be essential in delivering outstanding client services and support. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your core skills in communication and data entry will be vital in managing customer inquiries and ensuring accurate information flow. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office and organizational skills will enhance efficiency in daily operations. Additionally, your ability to collaborate with sales teams will contribute to a seamless customer experience.
