Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Customer Service Representative, where you'll be the friendly face that enhances the shopping experience! In this energetic role, you'll handle transactions efficiently, assist customers with their needs, and promote our products through engaging demos and upselling. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will ensure every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return. Whether managing the cash register or guiding customers through product features, your enthusiasm will drive store success and create a welcoming environment for all. Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling techniques Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store looks inviting Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic retail math to balance registers at shift end Assist in inventory management by stocking shelves and participating in regular stock checks Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering customer calls, providing clear information and support Requirements Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is beneficial Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment!
