In addition to our full-service grocery store, we operate a busy caf, bakery, and meat department. Our store serves a large and diverse customer base daily, and we take pride in creating a welcoming, community-focused environment where customers feel at home. We are currently hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced retail and caf environment, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for greeting customers, answering questions about products, assisting with purchases, and ensuring each guest has a positive shopping experience. This position also includes answering incoming phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and handling concerns in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, you will assist with responding to Google reviews and providing product recommendations for grocery items, bakery goods, and caf menu options. Because this role supports both retail and caf operations, it requires strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay organized during busy rush hours. Team members are expected to help maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area and support coworkers during peak times. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide product recommendations across grocery, bakery, and caf sections Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Handle customer concerns and complaints with professionalism Respond to online reviews (Google) Support caf and store operations during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organization of customer-facing areas
Schedule:
Wednesday•Sunday, 11:00 AM•7:30
PM Pay:
$20•22 per hour Benefits We offer competitive employee benefits including paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked), partial employer-covered medical insurance (75% for full-time employees), and paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years. Requirements Minimum 2 years of customer service or retail experience Fluent in Ukrainian or Russian (required) Weekend availability is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced grocery store and caf environment Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
