Job Description

Renton Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dependable, experienced, and team-oriented part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing veterinary team. This position is currently focused on Friday coverage, with opportunities for additional shifts and potential full-time growth in the future as our hospital continues to expand. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, multitasks effectively, and understands the importance of both client service and team support in veterinary medicine. Schedule Part-time Fridays required Additional coverage opportunities may become available Potential for future full-time growth Required Experience & Skills Applicants must already have experience with: Multi-line phone systems Professional email communication Customer service and client communication Cash handling and payment processing Opening and end-of-day closing procedures Reconciling payments and daily balances Working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment •Veterinary experience is preferred, but strong medical, hospitality, or high-volume customer service backgrounds may also be considered. Responsibilities Answering and managing high-volume phone calls Scheduling appointments and assisting clients Processing payments and maintaining accurate records Supporting front desk workflow and daily hospital operations Assisting with client communication via phone, email, and text platforms Maintaining a professional, compassionate, and team-focused environment What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: Reliable and accountable Comfortable handling multiple priorities at once Professional under pressure Detail-oriented and organized Compassionate toward clients and patients A positive contributor to team culture Has a reliable form of transportation We value individuals who are willing to learn, communicate openly, and help support an efficient and collaborative hospital environment.
