Salary:

Regular Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Summer Schedule:
Tuesday to Friday 8 am•5:30 pm; Saturday 7 am•4:30 pm (June to late August, and opportunity for OT)
Your Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the timely movement of cargo from origin to destination, ensuring all bookings, deliveries, and documentation meet customer instructions, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary liaison with customers, vendors, customs brokers, and internal departments to proactively communicate requirements, resolve issues, and prevent transit delays. Ensure all import files, warehouse documentation, release paperwork, reports, and records are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Monitor workflow priorities to maximize warehouse productivity, optimize delivery schedules, and maintain high levels of customer and vendor satisfaction. Process billing, claims, and accounting-related tasks accurately and within required timeframes while adhering to company policies and procedures. Promote a customer-focused environment by addressing transportation issues promptly, supporting sales and retention efforts, and exceeding customer expectations. Continuously analyze and improve department processes while providing support to other departments and stations as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
2 years of experience in logistics; air freight and export experience is a plus. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing competing, time-sensitive situations. Must be eligible to pass TSA background check. Proficient with basic computer skills, including email, web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong knowledge of geography to identify optimal freight forwarding routes. Excellent customer service and vendor relations skills, both over the phone and in person.
