About the Role This is not a traditional customer service position. With a small on-site team, you will play an important role in daily operations as we grow this location. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage sample intake logistics, support inside sales activities, and assist with laboratory functions including sample homogenization and shipping coordination. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants to grow with a company. Paid Onboarding Training - Oxnard, California The selected candidate will travel to our main laboratory in Oxnard, CA for two weeks of fully paid, hands-on training covering laboratory procedures, sample handling, quality systems, and customer operations. All travel expenses are covered by AGQ Labs USA. Responsibilities Customer Service and Account Management Answer inbound calls and manage the customer service email inbox Handle walk-in customers professionally Create and manage quotes for new customers and account managers Set up new customer and prospect accounts; convert prospect accounts to formal accounts Accept, update, adjust, and cancel quotes as needed Manage group accounts and billing accounts Update customer contact information and account active/inactive status Communicate TAT's, status updates, and results to clients Escalate customer requests and issues to the appropriate departments Communicate minimum sample size requirements and answer general client questions Relay information to account managers for potential A and B client requests Online Orders and Digital Systems Process and manage online sample submission requests Handle online order processing including chain of custody documentation Coordinate shipping labels for online order clients Set up clients with portal access and provide ongoing system support Chain of Custody and Client Training Facilitate client completion of chain of custody forms Generate sample labels on behalf of clients Provide portal training to clients as needed Quality, Billing, and Operations Process collections emails for past-due accounts Create tickets for quality issues Assist with ITAC and FDA quality packet preparation Sample Logistics and Laboratory Support Pick up samples from client locations within a 100-mile service radius of the Selah facility Perform sample blending and homogenization per standard operating procedures Package and ship homogenized samples to the AGQ Labs main laboratory in Oxnard, CA Follow all applicable SOPs for sample handling and chain of custody compliance Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed at the current IRS federal rate) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a small team environment Background in agriculture, laboratory sciences, customer service, or analytical testing services preferred Bachelor of Science in chemistry, biology, agriculture, or a related field is a significant plus but is not required

Compensation and Benefits Pay:

$19.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
