As an Inside Service Representative with National Insurance Services, you ll be the trusted expert clients rely on and the essential partner supporting our Account Representatives, Sales Representatives, and Regional Vice President. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, enjoys building relationships, and wants to grow their career in the insurance industry. You ll also obtain your Life & Health insurance licenses for all states in your assigned region within your first 90 days with full support from us. How you'll make an impact Handle all aspects of review and distribution of plan documents (Joinder/Application, Certificates, and Amendments). Become the goto expert ensuring every document is accurate, polished, and delivered with precision. Effectively service assigned caseload through annual service calls. Proactively identify need for insurance policy revisions through service calls. Support Account Representatives, Sales Representatives, and Regional Vice President by handling action items identified in service visits. Build strong client relationships, uncover opportunities for improvement, and turn insights into action that elevates the client experience. Respond to frequent customer inquiries via telephone (inbound and outbound), e-mail, or letter. Counsel clients on appropriate administrative practices to ensure compliance and alignment with insurance policy language. Be the trusted voice clients depend on - offering clarity, guidance, and confidence with every interaction. Initiate requests for policy language updates to carriers. Negotiate with carrier for provision updates and/or rate impact, and effectively communicate rate impact and policy language accommodations to Regional Vice President, Sales Representatives, Account Representative, or client. Take the lead in collaborating with carriers, advocating for client needs, and communicating updates with professionalism and ease. Review and evaluate monthly renewal actions for assigned cases and prepare renewal letters. Collaborate with Account Representatives, Sales Representatives, or Regional Vice President for renewal delivery to the client. Play a key role in the renewal process, ensuring clients receive timely, accurate, and wellcrafted renewal communications. Maintain and update all systems databases and customer files per company guidelines. Keep operations running smoothly with meticulous attention to detail and consistent data accuracy. Collaborate with Customer Service Supervisor to identify opportunities for process improvement or service enhancements. Help shape the future of our service model by sharing insights and championing improvements. Other duties as assigned. Jump in where needed and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
About You Required:
High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Strong typing and basic computer skills. Preferred:
Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word. Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package.
