Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Janitorial & Customer Support Associate to join our team! In this vital role, you will combine hands-on cleaning expertise with exceptional customer service to ensure our facilities are spotless, safe, and welcoming. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to a positive environment for both staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in commercial cleaning, custodial maintenance, and customer support while making a meaningful impact every day. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces, utilizing skills in floor care and buffing techniques. Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness standards in compliance with safety protocols. Assist visitors and team members by providing friendly support, directions, and addressing general inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks such as repairing fixtures or reporting issues requiring specialized attention. Utilize industrial cleaning equipment for deep cleaning projects or specialized tasks like carpet extraction or floor buffing. Support overall facilities maintenance efforts by ensuring equipment is operational and supplies are stocked. Follow safety guidelines during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for everyone. Key Responsibilities Clean shelves, floors, outdoor areas; vacuum and mop Wipe down hot tubs and maintain cleanliness Take out garbage Organize and file Run water tests (training provided) Greet customers and answer phones occasionally Ring up customers in POS Stock shelves and check mail Run errands as needed Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuums, mops. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills to support team collaboration and customer interactions.
