This position plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive timely communication, accurate order entry, and excellent service throughout the order lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Provide professional and timely communication regarding orders, pricing, lead times, shipping status, and product information
  • Build strong customer relationships through responsive and solution-oriented service
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting basic order and delivery issues Order Entry & Processing
  • Enter and maintain customer orders accurately within the ERP system
  • Review purchase orders for pricing, terms, product accuracy, and delivery requirements
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and shipping departments to ensure on-time fulfillment
  • Process returns, credits, and order changes as needed Account & Administrative Support
  • Maintain customer records and documentation
  • Assist with preparing quotations and supporting the sales team
  • Monitor open orders and proactively communicate delays or issues
  • Support collections efforts by communicating with customers regarding past due invoices when necessary
  • Assist with general office and administrative duties as assigned Internal Coordination
  • Work closely with operations and production teams to prioritize customer needs
  • Help identify process improvement opportunities within customer service workflows
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all communications and transactions Qualifications Required
  • 5+ years of customer service, inside sales support, or administrative experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or hose/fittings industry
  • ERP system experience (Tribute ERP experience preferred)
  • Experience processing purchase orders and coordinating shipments
  • Basic understanding of inventory, logistics, or production processes Schedule
  • Full-time position - Onsite Required
  • Monday through Friday
  • Standard business hours with occasional overtime as needed Compensation & Benefits
