Customer Service Representative

Valley Cabinet is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Customer Service Representative with a technical mindset . Position Summary:

Confidently communicate technical product support. The CSR is responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers by addressing technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Gain knowledge of products and manufacturing process. Determine correct product based off customer s custom order requests. Provide technical product information and pricing to customer. Process orders from quote through to shipping and invoicing. Communicate with customers via phone and email. Build and maintain customer relationships. Respond to customer requests in a timely manner. Provide solutions by answering and discussing alternate product options. Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. Serve as back up scheduler. Data entry. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or

Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. Experience in the cabinet or manufacturing industry and/or using cabinet design software would be a plus. 3 years of experience working in an office environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills including active listening, interpersonal skills, communication, complaint resolution, empathy, and positivity. Strong technical aptitude. Confident. Analytical skills. Detail orientated. Strong organizational and time management skills. Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere Ability to work independently. Expert in Microsoft office.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following: Office environment - use of office equipment including computer, telephone, copier/printer. Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk.
