Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused and organized Customer Service Advisor to join our team. As the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, you'll be responsible for creating a positive service experience from drop-off to pick-up. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns in a professional and friendly manner. Write up repair orders and accurately document customer requests and technician recommendations. Provide cost estimates, explain services, and obtain customer approvals. Coordinate with technicians to communicate repair status and timelines. Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and ensure satisfaction at delivery. Upsell preventative maintenance and service packages where appropriate. Manage service appointment scheduling and workflow.
Must-Know Items:
Strong understanding of automotive systems and common service needs. Ability to translate technical information into simple, clear language for customers. Experience using repair order systems (RO Writer & DVI inspections.) is a plus. Knowledge of warranty and service contract guidelines is a plus.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a customer service role (automotive preferred). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or business training is a plus.
