Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with sales, and handling cash transactions. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Assist customers in finding products and provide recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Perform basic math calculations to calculate prices and discounts
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating prices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain cash register balances
- Proficiency in using a point-of-sale (POS) system is a plus
