Job Description:
ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Account Specialist to support a fast-paced Sales and Customer Service team within a dynamic manufacturing environment in Waukesha, WI . This role is ideal for a customer-focused and analytical professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and enjoys balancing customer service, sales support, and operational coordination responsibilities. The Customer Account Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, supporting order fulfillment, sales analysis, and day-to-day account management activities. This individual will help ensure customer needs are met through proactive communication, strong problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, and finance teams.
Job Description:
Customer Service & Account Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, requests, and order-related communication
  • Support day-to-day account management activities while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate product flow and order fulfillment activities between warehouses, customers, and internal teams
  • Utilize internal systems and processes to manage customer data, orders, and communications efficiently
  • Identify customer needs and communicate opportunities or concerns to the sales team Relationship Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support seamless order fulfillment and issue resolution
  • Communicate customer updates, priorities, and concerns effectively across teams
  • Provide product and company information while delivering responsive, value-based customer service Sales Support & Business Analysis
  • Assist with sales forecasting, reporting, and opportunity analysis
  • Support sales management in identifying process improvements and opportunities to enhance customer service and sales performance
  • Collect, analyze, and report sales-related data to support revenue goals and operational efficiency
  • Contribute ideas and solutions that improve customer experience and internal processes Financial & Operational Coordination
  • Monitor customer payments, credits, and account activity in coordination with internal finance teams
  • Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation and payment follow-up activities
  • Support alignment between customer goals, sales strategies, and operational execution
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as needed
Must Have Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, sales support, or related roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and financial/business acumen
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment Nice to
Have Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting customer accounts in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
  • Exposure to sales forecasting, reporting, or operational analysis

  • Background in customer relationship management or inside sales support
