Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. This position plays an important role in assisting patients with medical equipment orders, insurance documentation, scheduling, and communication with referral sources. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients, caregivers, and referral sources Process new orders and patient information accurately Verify insurance benefits and obtain required documentation Communicate with physicians' offices regarding prescriptions and medical records Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and service calls Maintain accurate patient records in company software systems Follow HIPAA guidelines and company policies Assist with billing questions and order updates Work collaboratively with office staff, drivers, and management Perform general office and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous customer service or office experience preferred Medical office, healthcare, or DME experience is a plus Strong communication and phone skills Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional attitude and dependable attendance High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred Skills Insurance verification experience Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes Experience with EMR or DME software systems Prior authorization experience is a plus Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Supportive team environment
