Customer Service Representative

Experience:

Prior Customer Service Representative experience preferred, but not required.

Description:

Customer Service Representative to provide quality service to our customers. Working directly with customer order processing and material shipment through coordination between the purchasing department, warehouse personnel and the customer with the primary objective being to get the customers' material delivered when and where it is needed.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include manual and EDI order entry, pricing confirmation, releasing tickets for shipment, project shipment coordination, communication with customers and other departments regarding shipments and pricing, filing, expediting material shipments and any other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

The ability to concentrate and work in an open, busy environment. Ability to multi-task, to be able to work effectively and efficiently and with others, to be detail-oriented and to possess or have the ability to learn problem solving and other customer service-related skills.

Background:
