COPY LINK link CWR Logistics Specialist For a client in the transportation and logistics sector, Adecco is recruiting a Logistics Specialist focused on dispatch operations, documentation, and coordination across daily freight activities. In this role, you support order entry, routing and dispatching, traffic coordination, and the accurate handling of operational paperwork. You will work closely with drivers, account managers, operations leadership, vendors, receivers, and customers to help ensure loads are scheduled, routed, and delivered according to service expectations. The positionbines real-time dispatch monitoring with detailed documentation andpliance responsibilities, including the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, dispatch/routing systems, and the Freight Optimizer system to track and validate operational data. Benefits Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Work environment is a fast-paced operations or warehouse/office setting with frequent interaction. Role may require early mornings, evenings, or weekend availability based on business needs. What You Will Do? Coordinate daily dispatch activities by assigning routes, scheduling drivers, and clearlymunicating delivery or service assignments. Monitor route progress, provide real-time support for delays or issues, and adjust dispatch plans to maintain service levels. Prepare, review, and process delivery tickets, PODs, service reports, and other paperwork while maintaininganized records for audits. Input, track, and manage operational data using Microsoft Excel, internal systems, and dispatch/routing systems with attention to accuracy. Ensure all paperwork meetspany and regulatorypliance standards, resolving discrepancies, missing information, or errors promptly. Track keypliance metrics such as PODpletion, service documentation rates, and error reduction in documentation processes. Serve as a liaison between drivers, operations teams, vendors, leadership, receivers, and customers by providing timely status updates. Maintain customer profile information, enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system, and validate load data for accounting. Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verify that loads arrive on time and in good condition, and investigate product overages, shortages, or damages. Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments, accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers, and provide detailed routing directions. Your Skills High school diploma or equivalent is required, with general knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics operations. At least 1 year of logistics experience, ideally involving dispatch, routing, or administrative support in a transportation environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, tracking, and basic reporting, with advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis preferred. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Word, along with familiarity with dispatch/routing systems and transportation management systems (TMS) or routing software. Stronganizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple loads. Excellentmunication and problem-solving abilities, including experience writing routine reports and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders. High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong documentation and recordkeeping practices that support audits andpliance requirements. Ability to mon sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form while resolving operational issues. Familiarity with logistics, last-mile delivery, or service operations, including tracking on-time dispatch rate and paperwork accuracy metrics. Interested? Pay Details:
