Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Overview This job will be located at one of the following Monticello Bank offices, Danville, Somerset, London or Monticello, KY. This professional identifies and resolves highly complex issues to prevent cyber attacks on information systems and to keep computer information systems secure from interruption of service, intellectual property theft, network viruses, data mining, financial theft, and theft of sensitive customer data, allowing business to continue as normal. Responsibilities Installs, monitors, and manages security mechanisms that protect networks and information systems against hackers, breaches, viruses, and spyware. Responds to incidents, investigates violations, and recommends enhancements to plug potential security gaps. Proactively conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate risks. Ensure that infrastructure and applications, as well as IT processes and procedures, meet strict security requirements and comply with I processes and procedures, meet strict security requirements and comply with IT Risk management guidelines. Qualifications Associate Degree in Cyber Security Program or Business-related field (Information Security, Threat intelligence, Digital Forensics, Computer Science.) Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Purview, Azure, Intune, Proficient with SIEM tools to include Crowd Strike, Artic Wolf, ThreatLocker Zero trust, vulnerability scanners, and incident response processes.

Preferred Certifications:

CompTIA Security+, SecurityX. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure). Hands-on experience with threat hunting and advanced incident response. Exposure to data loss prevention (DLP) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions. Familiarity with security compliance audits (SOC 2, GLBA). Strong ability to interpret and apply threat intelligence to improve defenses.

Pay:

$61,942.00 - $92,913.00 per year
