FullTime Job Title Cybersecurity Training Manager Agency Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Department Business and Cyber Solutions Proposed Minimum Salary $7,500.00 monthly Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description Cybersecurity Training Manager $7,500.00 per month 1 Full-Time Position College Station, Texas The Role at a Glance The Cybersecurity Training Manager provides leadership and oversight for cybersecurity training and technical assistance programs, including the coordination of course schedules, instructor assignments, training deliveries, client communications, and program operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers and supports business development by identifying training and technical assistance needs, preparing proposals and budgets, marketing program offerings, and building strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include managing Cyber Defense and Compliance program activities, conducting or supporting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, cybersecurity response and recovery planning, tabletop and functional exercises, custom training development, and quality assurance reviews. The Training Manager also supervises, mentors, and evaluates program staff and instructors, oversees administrative and fiscal responsibilities, ensures grant and contract deliverables are completed on time and within budget, and maintains compliance with agency, division, state, federal, grant, and contract requirements. This position reports to the Business and Cyber Solutions Program Director. Qualifications of the Role Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or systems administration. Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Equivalency:
Will consider an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with seven years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or systems administration OR a High School Diploma/GED with nine years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or systems administration.
