Cylinder Shop Technician

Camco Hydraulics is looking for Cylinder Shop Technician with strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude to join our team. •Monday-Friday, 8-4:30! •Guaranteed 40-hour work weeks!

The role and responsibilities include:

Assisting the daily operations of the cylinder shop. Providing customer counter service, i.e. good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge in hydraulic hose/fittings Making hydraulic hoses Mechanical knowledge in hydraulic repair, i.e. hydraulic cylinders Disassemble/assemble hydraulic cylinders Operation of lathe to machine cylinder rods Complete service requests in a prompt and efficient manner Take inventory of parts, place orders and keep shop organized Using computer software programs to make work orders, track purchase orders, place orders Assist with unloading truck deliveries Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (including lifting and standing) Experience working with various hand tools and equipment. Ability to work under minimal supervision. •Mechanical ability is a must! •Willing to train talent.
