Job Description

Seeking a full time Cytotechnologist to join a great team near the beautiful Sea Island, GA area! Great opportunity to work for a comprehensive pathology services company that provides for hundreds of hospitals and physicians.
Schedule:
Day Shift position
Responsibilities:
  • Examine slides to detect cellular abnormalities and potential signs of disease.
  • Record data and ensure proper documentation for accurate and efficient record-keeping.
  • Communicate information/issues to the supervisor/manager to ensure smooth laboratory operations and address concerns.
  • Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Assist and maintain QA/QC programs and monitors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Must perform within productivity expectations as outlined in current departmental guidelines to ensure timely analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree:
A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cytotechnology, Medical Technology, or a related biological/life science field is required. CT ASCP Certified This is a full time permanent role with competitive compensation/ benefits
