Cytotechnologist Full Time

Location Oregon This position includes up to $5,000 in relocation assistance to Eugene/Springfield Oregon and bonus of $5,000 upon two years of service. Job Description Pathology Consultants, PC, a dynamic, independently owned Pathology practice and laboratory located in Eugene/Springfield Oregon, is seeking a motivated Cytotechnologist to join our team. Pathology Consultants has been serving Oregon for over 90 years as the State's premier and longest running Pathology group. We are CAP accredited and have two board certified Cytopathologists on staff. We utilize the Hologic ThinPrep imaging system for gyn cytology and process non-gyn cytology as well as molecular tests are run on site in our molecular department. Duties

• Perform routine screening, using documented reporting and QC metrics
• Format and utilize diagnostic codes when entering results in Information System
• Verify results of all negative GYN cases
• Flag abnormal cases and refer each to a pathologist
• Contribute to Department QA and QC process documentation
• Maintain relevant continuing medical education The ideal candidate is ASCP and ThinPrep certified with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.

A minimum of three years of experience is preferred. The position is 40 hours per week.
