Dance Instructor and Choreographer

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance Instructor/ Choreographer to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of dance and tumble. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, teach various dance styles, and craft captivating choreography for performances and classes. Your enthusiasm for dance, combined with your ability to connect with students, will foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence. Duties Develop comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating techniques from ballet, theater dance, and other styles. Teach engaging dance classes that emphasize proper technique, expression, and stage presence while ensuring safety and proper form. Create innovative choreography for performances, recitals, or competitions that showcase students' talents and progress. Manage classroom environments effectively by implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive atmosphere conducive to learning. Provide individualized feedback and tutoring to help students improve their skills and overcome challenges. Plan lessons that incorporate elements of childhood development, early childhood education, or special education as needed to support diverse learners. Collaborate with parents, guardians, or school administrators to track student progress and coordinate performances or events. Skills Strong teaching abilities with experience working with children ages 2-18. Classroom management skills to create a disciplined yet inspiring environment for learners of all ages.
