Dance Instructor - Summer

About Us:

Southeast School of Dance is a dance studio located in Climax, NC. We are innovative, creative and our goal is to offer high-quality training that gives our dancers a strong technical foundation and nurtures the dancer as a whole. We prioritize creating a safe space for our dancers and a safe work environment for our employees. We are hiring a dependable and enthusiastic dance instructor with an energetic personality and a passion for teaching. We are looking to fill roles in our Foundations Level pre-school & kindergarten classes (Ages 3-5), our Introduction Level classes (Ages 5-7), and our Beginner Level classes (Ages 7-9). Teaching experience with ages 3-9 is preferred, but not required. A clear understanding of correct and safe technique is imperative.

Foundations Level First Steps, Thursdays 4:10-4:40 pm Foundations Level Tiny Tumblers, Thursdays 4:45-5:15 pm Introduction Level Acro, Mondays 4:00-4:30 pm Introduction Level Ballet/Tap Combo, Mondays 4:40-5:25 pm Beginner Level Tap, Thursdays 5:35-6:20 pm

Responsibilities:

Teach assigned weekly classes. Compose lesson plans (or follow the lesson plans provided). We are a growing studio, so there may be responsibilities added upon discussion. If the Summer Season goes well, we can discuss you joining our team by teaching regular full season classes.
