Data Analysis Technologist
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
Preferred:
  • 1+ year of experience working with LCMS/MS instrumentation
  • Experience in analyzing data, performing wet chemistry experiments, sample preparation and using general laboratory equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES
General
  • Must strictly adhere to safety protocols to work with infectious specimens, chemicals and other hazards.
  • Must be capable of producing accurate results under time constraints, multi-tasking, and performing in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Must possess good communication skills and be able to work closely with others.
  • Must be capable of paying close attention to detail in all responsibilities, including proper controlled document handling, chain of custody documentation, and good lab practice. LCMS/MS Data Analyst
  • Responsible for routine performance of confirmatory
LC-MS/MS
testing through daily operation of the
LC-MS/MS
instrumentation and analysis of test results.
  • Analysis of test results requires the use of Analyst, SciexOS, Insight, and Horizon software platforms.
  • Responsible for analysis of quality control material; including involvement in assay and instrument troubleshooting.
  • Ensure results are obtained using proper quality control measurements.
  • Recognize unacceptable test results and perform troubleshooting as needed. Professionalism
  • Testing personnel must follow directions of production manager, laboratory supervisor, and laboratory director.
  • Must adhere to all practice policies, including but not limited to scope of practice, attendance, confidentiality, dress code, and use of personal time.
  • Must be a team player and always strive to create a positive work environment.
