Job Description

Hopewell Township, NJ, United States (On-site) Contract (6 months 21 days) Published 14 days ago Quality Assurance & Testing data governance SQL Python metadata management time management Reporting & Visualization oracle database The Data Analyst is responsible for interpreting data, developing analytical processes, maintaining data systems, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Your role is to:
Interpret data and analyze results using code and statistical techniques, including pharma and life sciences datasets. Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and strategies that improve efficiency and quality across clinical, commercial, and research functions. Analyze data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases. Coordinate with stakeholders to review and resolve data discrepancies in regulated environments. Provide quality assurance of imported data. Commission and decommission datasets relevant to pharma and life sciences. Process confidential data according to guidelines and compliance frameworks. Develop reports, dashboards, and analysis summaries for stakeholders. Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Support data warehouse requirements including pharma data. Support initiatives focused on data integrity and normalization across scientific and business units. Assist with testing, assessing, and implementing new or upgraded software and commercial analytics platforms. Generate reports from single or multiple systems. Troubleshoot reporting databases and reports. Evaluate changes to source production systems. Train end users on new reports and dashboards. Provide technical expertise in data storage, data mining, and data cleansing.
Required:
Experience with pharma, biotech, or life sciences data, along with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data including clinical, commercial, or scientific datasets. Ability to plan work and meet deadlines. Interpersonal, teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Minimum 2 years of technical data analysis, data science, or data warehousing experience. Proven business analysis experience. Hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Python. Strong SQL skills. Experience with Power BI, SQL Developer, Visual Studio, Qlik. Understanding of Entity-Relationship models for clinical data. Knowledge of structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data formats including clinical notes, safety narratives, and commercial data feeds. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.60/hour - $55.62/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
