Job DescriptionEmployee Responsibilities:

Perform manual Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) data entry into and from various Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) with a keen eye for attention to detailMaintain GMP records and test resultsFollow GMP and ALCOA procedures and requirementsTrain and gain an understanding of GMP practices for tissue culture based potency assays on live vaccine products, process intermediates, and related experimental sample Assist in cross-functional activities such as preparing solutions and culture media, maintaining multiple cell linesWork independently and efficientlyDocument work clearly and perform procedures accuratelyCommunicate effectively with client and Eurofins PSS staff membersExperience with ELISA and other cell-based assays

QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipThe Ideal Candidate would possess:

At least six months related laboratory experience including aseptic and cell culture techniquesGeneral laboratory skills, experience with pipettes, and experience with automationDemonstrated expertise with GXP compliance, documentation, technical writing (procedures and policies) is a plusExperience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in ExcelStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAdditional InformationThe position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
