Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position receives and processes incoming orders for materials or merchandise. Generally, receives orders via work orders. Responsible for organizing the documents, performing research, confirming prices and performing a quality check on the documents prior to going to production. Duties include informing customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates, and delays; preparing contracts; and handling complaints.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary. Inform customers of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays. Inform customer of missing order information and work to resolve prior to entering order Assist with reception dutiesEQUIPMENT/ COMPUTER SKILLS
Experience in Office Suite Software Experience using general office equipment (computer and copier, etc.)EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Ability to connect with people in an outgoing and friendly manner. Ability to build and maintain business relationships Must have the ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking Knowledge of administration and management. Knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of Customer and Personal Service Must be detail oriented and an active listener. Must have the time management skill. Must have the skill to coordinate between departments. Must be able to see details at close range. Must have excellent typing skills. Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to resolve conflicts and negotiate with others. Must be able to communicate with others verbally and in writing effectively. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be able to understand the importance of being exact or accurate.WORKING CONDITIONS

In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include: Must be able to work in a fast pace manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit for extended periods. Must be comfortable with sounds or noise levels that can be uncomfortable or distracting. Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be comfortable with occasional exposure to shop elements such as dust, fumes and orders, when on the manufacturing floor. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles while on the manufacturing floor. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required and interaction with other departments and communicating via telephone or computer. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend, stand or walk as necessary. This position works largely on a computer and requires extended periods of typing and computer work. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
