Database Developer

POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS

: Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain relational and/or NoSQL database solutions supporting scalable digital applications, leveraging 5+ years of hands-on database development experience. Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and database packages to meet application and business requirements. Design and maintain data models and database schemas, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and scalability. Perform query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis to support high-volume and mission-critical workloads. Collaborate with application, API, cloud, and DevOps teams to design efficient data access patterns within modern architectures. Support data migration, transformation, and modernization initiatives, applying proven approaches gained through 5+ years of real-world experience. Participate actively in Agile delivery, including sprint planning, design reviews, code reviews, and release activities. Apply database development best practices for version control, CI/CD integration, documentation, and secure coding. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, availability, and performance across development, test, and production environments. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Database Developer supporting enterprise or digital application platforms. 5+ years of hands-on experience with advanced SQL and procedural programming (e.g., TSQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL). Server, Oracle, MySQL, or cloud-native databases. Proven expertise in data modeling, indexing strategies, transactions, locking, and concurrency management.
