WHAT IS ARC GLOW?

WHO DOES THE ARC GLOW SUPPORT?
People with intellectual and developmental disabilities will be valued members of their communities, with the opportunity to realize their full potential and a future that is secure.
WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?
Develop and coordinate curriculum for program participants Develop, write, update, and implement Staff Action Plans and safeguards to people supported. Communicate with families, internal departments and outside agencies to coordinate services. Interview, supervise, and evaluate program employees and assist in further development of skills. Maintains schedule of employees and services provided. Ensure documentation is completed and in accordance with agency, OPWDD, Medicaid and other funder requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VOCATIONAL SPECIALIST II
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, 2 years' experience in the I/DD field, and previous supervisory experience required This position requires a valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Arc GLOW. Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
