Day Off Coverage for Cottage Cleaners & Laundry Staff Summary of Position This position is responsible for completing the tasks of the Cottage Cleaners and Laundry workers on their specific day off. It is a 6 day/week position where 3 days of the week would be designated to cleaning cottages, 2 days per week would be designated as assisting in the laundry & 1 day per week would be working with another Cottage Cleaner to complete the changeovers in their cottages. Responsibilities

• Clean & sanitize bathrooms (Sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors & floors).
• Replace towels, soaps & toilet paper as needed.
• Make beds neatly (Hospital corners & even bedspreads).
• Dust furniture, clean surfaces & check for cobwebs.
• Vacuum or sweep all floors.
• Empty trash & recycling (replace liners as needed).
• Tidy living spaces, including arranging furniture, fluffing pillows & organizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of porches, walkways & other outdoor areas.
• Sorting, washing, drying or hanging, ironing, folding all types of textiles that come to the Laundry.
• Become familiar with all washing machines & dryers.
• Become familiar with how to correctly fold each type of textile.
• Become familiar with where each textile is stored.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
• Assist Laundry Manager with any other needs deemed necessary to complete daily duties. Requirements
• Be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Be able to stand, walk & reach for long periods of time.
• Good organizational & time management skills.
• Good analytical & problem solving skills.
• Sense of urgency & desire to do well.
• Must be professional, articulate, and friendly.
• Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance required.
