Daycare Assistant

Duties Assist with supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being Support classroom management by organizing activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Implement age-appropriate educational programs that encourage curiosity and learning in preschool and toddler-aged children Provide basic first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols diligently Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings Strong classroom management skills to guide behavior positively and constructively Ability to provide infant care, toddler care, and support early childhood educational activities First aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hiring to ensure safety standards are met Compassionate caregiving skills with an emphasis on working with individuals with disabilities or special needs Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents or guardians Join us in shaping bright futures!
