This is a hands-on position that involves actively supervising and interacting with children, assisting with daily routines, serving meals and snacks, leading activities, and helping maintain a clean and organized daycare environment. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Engage children in age-appropriate activities, crafts, sensory play, games, and learning projects Actively play with children and encourage positive interactions, creativity, and problem-solving Speak to children in a kind, respectful, and positive manner Assist with diapering, toileting, handwashing, and other daily routines as needed Serve and plate meals and snacks and assist children during mealtimes Clean and sanitize toys, tables, dishes, activity materials, bathrooms, and play areas throughout the day Clean up after meals, activities, and daily play experiences Support a calm, structured, and nurturing environment Follow all health and safety procedures and communicate effectively with the daycare provider Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification Experience working with children is preferred but not required Reliable, patient, positive, and able to work independently Able to lift up to 40 pounds and frequently bend, squat, kneel, sit on the floor, and actively participate in children's activities If you enjoy working with young children and helping them learn and grow, we'd love to hear from you!
