Daycare Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a caring and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will support the development and well-being of children in a nurturing environment, assisting with daily activities, classroom management, and ensuring a safe and engaging space for young learners. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and experienced in caring for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum. Supervise children during playtime, mealtime, naptime, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and addressing minor behavioral issues. Help with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving needs for toddlers. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety standards. Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques. First aid certification is highly preferred to ensure safety during emergencies. Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to work well with children demonstrating patience and understanding. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members. Experience with behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions. Compassionate caregiver with a nurturing attitude towards young children. At least 2 years prior experience in babysitting, nannying, or teaching is a required. Pay:

$16.00 - $16.50 per hour
