Responsibilities Help to implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress, needs, and milestones. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care when necessary. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including meal times, naps, diapering, and transitions between activities. Document daily observations and developmental progress to inform future planning and reporting. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings (preferred) Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques. Certification in First Aid and CPR, or willingness to receive certifications Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavioral challenges positively and effectively. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with parents professionally. Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, or full shifts as needed. Passion for caring for children and supporting their growth through nurturing guidance and educational activities. Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
