In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a positive, engaging atmosphere for children, families, and staff alike. Your leadership will be pivotal in creating a safe, educational, and joyful space that promotes early childhood development and lifelong learning. Manage daily daycare operations, including staff scheduling, classroom activities, and facility maintenance to ensure smooth functioning. Lead and support a team of educators and caregivers by providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to uphold high-quality childcare standards. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development, early learning skills, and social-emotional growth. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency preparedness. Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates on children's progress, and addressing concerns promptly. Oversee classroom management to maintain a positive environment conducive to learning and caregiving for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Associates's Degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field (special education, elementary education or the human services field and 30 credits in ECE) At least one (1) year of experience with children Clearances and physical with TB test are required
