Daycare Teacher

What You Will Do This is a support role, which means you go where you are needed. Some days you may be in one classroom. Other days you may move between classrooms helping where support is needed most.

Your responsibilities will include:

Helping with daily routines and classroom activities Supporting children during play, meals, rest time, and transitions Keeping classrooms clean, organized, and safe Providing positive guidance and support to children Communicating with team members and families as needed What We Need From You We need team members who are reliable and flexible. This role depends on the needs of the center each day. Available Monday through Friday Able to work within our hours of 6:00 am to 6:30 pm as scheduled Willing to work a flexible schedule based on classroom needs Able to move between classrooms and support different age groups Show up on time and stay for your full shift Comfortable being active throughout the day and lifting up to 50 pounds Qualifications Patient, caring, and dependable Able to stay organized and handle a busy environment Food Handler Permit First Aid and CPR, or willing to get certified Willing to complete required child care training Pay and Benefits Starting at $14 per hour with room to grow Paid training Free meals during your shift Health insurance options Professional development opportunities Referral program About Us A to Z Building Blocks is a child care and preschool program focused on creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and families.
