Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where children can thrive. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and working with diverse learning needs to support each child's unique developmental journey. Responsibilities Design and implement creative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management techniques and clear communication with children and parents. Support children's development through tailored activities that address early intervention needs and special education requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to active learning and exploration. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development related to toddler care, and childhood development. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing tools and document observations for parent updates and program planning. Engage in open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential, with demonstrated classroom management skills. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development for toddlers through preschool age groups. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists.
Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
