Childcare Teacher Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and attentive Childcare Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that children's basic needs are met while fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic care for children, including feeding, grooming, and diaper changing Create a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for all children Introduce children to age-appropriate activities, hobbies, and learning experiences Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and good manners Use creative learning methods such as storytelling, games, and art to stimulate development Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate progress reports Identify behavioral concerns and implement appropriate strategies to address them Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns Hold parent-teacher meetings as needed Attend staff meetings, conferences, and professional development workshops
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Child Care Professional (CCP) certification preferred Prior experience working as a Childcare Teacher CPR and First Aid certification preferred Clear criminal background check Strong understanding of child development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong conflict resolution abilities Patient, attentive, and compassionate demeanor
