Daycare Teacher

Job description The Daycare Teacher is responsible for: Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. The teacher plans and implements age-appropriate educational, physical, and cognitive development while maintaining a warm and supportive classroom atmosphere Create and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being Support children's emotional, social, and behavioral development Encourage positive interactions and model appropriate behavior Observe, document, and assess children's progress and development Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians Assist with daily routines, including meals, toileting/diapering, and rest time Maintain accurate attendance and developmental records Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety standards Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support classroom goals
