Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for childhood development and commitment to fostering a positive classroom atmosphere will inspire children to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and social-emotional growth. Support children's developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities tailored for toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or requiring early intervention. Manage daily classroom routines such as circle time, play-based learning, snack time, and nap schedules with efficiency and care. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental achievements. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special educational events and adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and individualized plans while ensuring compliance with childcare regulations. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred, but not required Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods. Experience supporting children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is desirable; relevant coursework or training in childhood development is advantageous. Ability to create an inclusive environment that promotes child welfare and safety at all times.
