Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. The Daycare Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere for toddlers and preschool-aged children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate weekly lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Facilitate engaging activities that promote learning through play, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor exploration. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents regarding their progress. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure a safe learning space. Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall goals of the daycare program. Skills Strong knowledge of childcare and early childhood education principles. Experience working with children in various settings, including caregiving or babysitting roles. Understanding of childhood development milestones and special education needs. Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to different age groups. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for fostering children's growth and learning.
