Job Description

Duties:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for preschool children.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and teamwork.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred but not necessary
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting preferred
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment for young children.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
