Daycare Worker/Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Worker/Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care routines. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and well-being. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and organized environment conducive to learning. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavioral observations. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development and daily experiences. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred. Childcare clearances, or willingness to obtain clearances. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and foster positive social interactions. Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience for working with young children. Ability to adapt activities for various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and supporting their developmental milestones. Pay:

$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
