Full-time Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the Distribution Center by managing administrative tasks, coordinating HR functions, overseeing purchasing and inventory control for specific items, and ensuring compliance with EHS and audit requirements.Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize weekly payroll in ADP, main contact for attendance and PTO requests. Manage purchasing and supplier control, including generating quotes, activating new suppliers, and ensuring year-long POs. Control inventory for T+items and Consumables, and manage the MRO Kanban process. Comply with EHS, local, state, and federal safety requirements, and maintain business certifications (UL, CSA, CTPAT). Coordinate with suppliers, sales teams, customer representatives, Richmond plant, and Belden Corporate for various operational needs. Assist in any new tasks required by the DC Management team. Coordinate with HR and DC management regarding employee needs and approvals. Owns engagement activities including setup / teardown, reporting and budget tracking for engagement activities, which include monthly events, anniversaries, birthdays and employee events. Attend engagement meetings and bring forth ideas for the four pillars: wellness events covering physical, emotional, financial and social wellness. Track attendance, take photos, and keep a detailed report of each employee event to market the DC location for corporate requests. Performs all other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
