They work under supervision to ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction while developing their technical skills and experience. Level 1

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on power systems, UPS equipment, battery systems, and related components according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions under supervision of lead technicians or service engineers. Replace defective components and perform system testing.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed. Complete service reports and update customer equipment records.
• Support installation projects and equipment commissioning activities. Assist with battery replacements and system upgrades.
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Provide basic technical support to customers and explain maintenance procedures. Participate in training programs to develop technical skills.
• Support on-call rotation for emergency service calls as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in electrical/electronic equipment maintenance or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, electronics, and power equipment. Ability to use common electrical tools and test equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass background checks for customer facility access.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks in various environments.
• Ability to lift upwards of 75 pounds independently.
• Work in industrial environments including data centers, hospitals, and manufacturing facilities.
• Climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for electrical connections and component replacement.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a drug screen, background check, DOT medical exam, and blood draw, is required.
• Travel is required, which can include out-of-state travel up to two weeks at a time.
