Construction Management Professional 7 - LSLR/SDWMR CDM Smith - 3.8 Washington, DC Job Details Full-time $85,176 - $210,434 a year 17 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Plans, manages, and oversees multiple -contract projects of moderately complex nature on a large Program. Manages the day-to-day activities of construction representatives, construction coordinators and construction managers on projects. Coordinates and controls all construction management activities, including critical path method (CPM), scheduling and claims administration. Interprets plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and the company's field personnel. Provides internal consultation to construction representatives and serves as a technical resource to other function groups within the division. Provides direction to Shop Drawing professionals to develop project related shop drawings. Coordinates and disseminates shop drawings to project stakeholders, as necessary. Working with sales staff and project managers, contributes to the development of new opportunities for business through proposal preparation and general contact with current and potential clients. Reviews government and funding agency regulations to provide consultative services that reflect an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of legal requirements. Works alongside other disciplines/teams on the program towards the Program's success. Attends outreach meetings with premise owners, neighborhood meetings, and other related events to effectively convey information about the program and answer's residents' questions and concerns. Holds construction contractors responsible; holds meetings with the Contractor, Client and other stakeholders as needed to meet the overarching program goals. Mentors and guides junior and mid-level staff. Performs other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 8 years of relevant experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Driver's License Requirements An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
