AHJob Introduction:

Are you looking for a role where no two days are the same? As a De-escalation Guard at Redfern Building, Sadlers Yard, Manchester, M4 4AH you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of both the building and the people inside.

This site is a probation centre, meaning you'll regularly interact with ex-offenders and probation staff. Your presence will contribute to a safer environment and positively impact the lives of those you encounter.

What You'll Do:

Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring strict adherence to security protocols.

Maintain a safe and secure environment for all building users.

MonitorCCTV, Access Control, and other security systemsto detect and prevent security threats.

Act as thefirst line of responseto security incidents, system activations, and fault reports.

Handle calls, relay messages, and provide clear guidance to staff and visitors.

Conduct regular security patrols to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.

What You Bring:

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities.

Must be 18 or olderand hold avalid SIA License.

Excellent communication and situational awareness.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.

Due to the nature of the site, afull DBS clearanceis required.
